First of all, on behalf of Kanowit District Council (KDC), I would like to express my warmest welcome to all internet users especially our clients to the Laman Web of KDC.
With this facility available, the flow of information and two way communication between KDC and it's clients is now more efficient and effective. Services provided by KDC becomes more transparent, duly understood and appreciated for promoting the good relationship with it's clients and thereby preventing unnecessary misunderstanding in our policies and actions. |
KDC has always being determined in improving and upgrading the development of infrastructure and providing quality services to the people of Kanowit. On the other hand, residents of Kanowit should also be grateful and thankful that many development projects and healthy social activities have been carried out successfully lately. This is all due to our effort and cohesiveness, yours and mine , together, whether directly or indirectly in realizing our dream to develop Kanowit over a short period of time. With these assets in hand and also a vast area of 2253.5 sq. km, Kanowit has all the necessary potentials to attract local and foreign investments.
Apart from that, KDC has a 'vision' of making Kanowit one of the most beautiful, clean and safe place to stay and visit in Sarawak. It is therefore, residents of Kanowit are urge to participate, get involved and share the responsibility in the effort of achieving this vision.
Last but not least, I sincerely hope that this laman web will be beneficial to all parties and together we face the challenge of this new era for the future of our country.
