Komuniti Sejethera (Health Commuinty) at Rh Benjamin Angki Kaboy longhouse, Rantau Kemiding, Kanowit
Health Community Project was officially launched by YB Datuk Gramong
Juna, Menteri Muda Pembangunan Luar Bandar Sarawak on 18th January 2008.
Among those invited to the launching were various Head of Government Departments, Community leaders,(Penghulus, Tuai Rumah, Counicllors), Teachers and Students. During the launching, YB Datuk Gramong, Acting District Officer Mr. Herman Ullok and Tuai Rumah Councillor Benjamin Angki Kaboy planted a palm tree each to mark the occassion.
Activities during the launching that day includes, Health Screening by Hospital Daerah Kanowit , Mini exihibtions by Health Department Kanowit and Bomba , colouring contest for primary school children where 3 primary school namely SK Rt. Kemiding, SK Ng Lipus and SJK(c) Yee Ting bringing a total number of 40 students participated.
The Committee of Healthy Community for Rantau Kemiding has lined up the following activities for the first half year of 2008 as follows:-
